Kahrs a class act at David Lloyd

Kährs FSC-certified Oak Activity floor has been installed at the David Lloyd fitness club in Cheadle, Greater Manchester.

Specified and sold through Kährs sports floor partner, Reflex Sports, and laid by Reflex-approved CourtCare UK, the installation forms part of a fitness studio refurbishment and totals over 180sq m (1,900sq ft).

Kährs Activity floor was chosen for its performance and ease of installation, facilitated by an integral design which can be laid directly onto a subfloor.

Kährs Activity Floor provides optimum absorption combined with a very low construction height.

The DIN and EN Standard compliant construction provides overlapping pressure distribution, with HDF board across joints on both long and short sides, whilst resilient expanded foam absorbs energy and eliminates springing.

Kährs glueless Woodloc joint gives strength, perfect joints between boards and enables the floor to be laid more quickly than an ordinary 'battened' sports floor.

A durable satin lacquer pre-finish, applied during manufacture, provides easy maintenance.

David Lloyd is the UK's leading, and Europe's largest, racquet, health and fitness group, operating 78 clubs throughout the UK, with ten sites across Europe.

It provides family-oriented facilities and service levels, and currently has more than 450,000 members.

Studio-based activities range from high-energy to holistic classes.
